Fukuro Yari Spearhead
The Fukuro Yari was one of the many types of Japanese socket spear. Known for besting western swordsman with its ‘slip-thrusts’, the yari was one of the greatest weapons in the Japanese arsenal often even besting the more famous bladed varietals. This replica sports the tapered edges of the yari spearblade. Even if your local organization only recognizes thrusts as killing blows (for example, in the Middle Kingdom you cannot score with a draw cut when wielding spear), this weapon has our impact tip on the front that will deliver a pleasant killing blow to even the most well armored opponents.
This yari is one of our smaller blades. From front to back it is 302 (11.8 in) mm long, but from the rattan to the point it is 236 mm (9.3 in).
